Friday Weekly Features

Feature & Follow Friday is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read to expand your blog following amongst bloggers. There are rules to enter so please click on either of the hosts' links to join. This week's question:-
It's that pesky magic book fairy again! She has another wish: What imaginary book world would you like to make a reality?

Definitely JK Rowling's Harry Potter world! I'm yet to see a world created within pages of a book that's as brilliant and imaginative as Harry Potter's.

This week's featured blogs are:-

Book Blogger Hop

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy for Books. Please click on the link for the rules. This week's question:-
As a book blogger, how do you introduce yourself in your profile?

I haven't been a book blogger for long so I believe that my profile is very poorly written compared to those that have been blogging for awhile. However, I'd like to have the history of how I started reading, why I love books and what genres I like to read. I'm looking forward to reading other people's reply to this, maybe I can learn how to write a better profile.

TGIF is a weekly feature that have you recapping your week's blog posts and a question...hosted by GReads.
Book Disappointments: Have you ever come across a book you were so stoked to read, but it failed miserably in your eyes?

Recent disappointments was "Here Lies Bridget" by Paige Harbisson and Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. I've also had experiences where the books had received a lot of raves, so I go into it having high expectations. The books did not fail miserably but they certainly did not meet the expectations. I'm unsure if it's my unrealistic expectations.

I liked Before I Fall. But maybe it was more the topic than the delivery. I do like that it didn't end with everything being hunky dory.

Before I Fall keeps popping up on this question. I was curious about it but it seems to be getting a good deal of negative feedback.

Thanks for stopping by In Libris Veritas

This week’s Book Blogger Hop really threw me a curveball.

That’s because I don’t call myself a book blogger. I never even considered myself a book blogger. Sure I blog about books and book-related topics week after week. But for some reason I never saw the label of “book blogger” applying to me.

If you’re wondering why then please hop on over to my blog and find out – http://www.howardsherman.net

The world of HP definitely (without all the evil/bad magic, of course). I'd love to see that one IRL.

Glad to have found you via the Hop!

I chose Harry Potter too. I love that world. It has so many of the best elements of fantasy. I'd love to be a witch and go to Hogwarts and participate in the adventures that the big three did.
