Sunday Post #8

The Sunday Post
Sunday Post is a weekly feature hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Reviewer. It's main purpose is similar to that of a Sunday newspaper; recap of the week gone by, additions to your library and what is going on in the book blogging community.

P.S. I Love You by Cecila Ahern is one of my all-time favourite books, is the first book to make me cry...EVER, so when I found this Hardcover, Cloth Bound at my local book store for $5 I had to grab it!!!

These two were also bargain buys at $7 (left) and $5 (right) so I was really thrilled with my bargain buys today.

Personal News

Kobo Glo

I've got a new eBook Reader! I'm full of amazing bookish bargains this week! I got the Kobo Glo in Pink for $60, RRP $159 so I got $99 off, and it is amazing!

For those that are in Australia run for yours at your nearest BigW store, they are currently having a promo and they've gotten extra stock to cater for this. Contact them before going in store to ensure they have stock and they have your colour preference.

Plaza Book & Music Exchange

Ok y'all may think this part is like "and so..." but just so you all understand. I live in an area where the closest dedicated second hand book store is probably nearly an hour away. Even my large local shopping centre only has one dedicated book store, and we didn't even have any for awhile there. So when I found this Second hand entertainment exchange store I was thrilled!

It is a tiny gem so you won't find everything but they have quite a variety, and what I love about them, is not so much their book variety but the quality of their second hand books are excellent, nearly all the books I seen looked in as new condition and the most important and exciting part of my find? Is that they do credit exchange! So I can take my books that I no longer want, or just didn't like or ones I liked but would never re-read again over to the Plaza Book & Music Exchange and I can get store credit to purchase new books! How awesome is that?

Ok I don't want to ramble, but this is exciting for me as I don't even know where else there's a second hand book store let alone ones that allow for exchanges...so this is a very thrilling find for me. You can check out the inside of the store through a Google Map interactive tour here
