Weekly Wrap-Up

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kim @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

Life Beyond Books

I am starting to get better, about 80% there. I am still happy with that, but I just can't believe I've been sick for so long. I didn't take anti-biotics as the Doctor said I wasn't getting worse (although I wasn't getting better either). I believe some of my troubles could be the changing weather, we are getting a range of Summer, Fall and Winter weather. The last few days though has been winter all over...so I think I can safely say Winter is here early.

The bedroom suite has arrived, and once put up I actually am liking it a lot more than what I thought. I was seriously having second thoughts about this purchase, but it's the best practical choice for us at this stage in our life (having a toddler).

All son's activities have recommenced this week too, so that's kept us a bit busier.

Bout-of-Books Readathon is starting THIS week! A week-long readathon. Click on the link to signup, there are challenges, Twitter chats etc.

Jay Kristoff is commencing his Australia-wide tour for Life Lik3 this week! I'm going to be going to his Sydney stop at Kinokyniya Books Sydney on the 25th.

Was really sad to have missed his previous tour for The Illuminae Files with Amie Kaufman, so I will at least now have the chance to meet one of these amazing Aussie Authors. If your attending please comment below as I'd love to meet other readers.

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!  Will also be linking up to Mailbox Monday.

That's all for me this week. It's been a very slow week for me in the reading front. I have only finished two books. So I'll try better this week as it's the Bout-of-Books Read-a-thon! I'm so excited!!! Are you participating? If so, leave your signup/update post and I will come for a visit this week.
