The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kim @ Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news~ A post to recap the past week on your blog and showcase books and things we have received. Share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.
Life Beyond Books
It's been a gorgeously quiet week at the home front. I've been sick with the flu through the week so I laboured in staying at home, reading when I can and just chilling out. Haven't done anything, we have cleaned the house somewhat, so I've been able to relax the last few days. I am trying to stay on top of maintenance so I don't have a huge amount of cleaning.
I am looking at moving over to Wordpress, but I'm thinking the logistics is a bit expensive. I'm not very tech savvy so wanted to ask a few questions...do you have to pay for hosting and domain when you start your own non-free Wordpress page? How much am I looking at roughly in monthly fees?
I'm thinking of going through Nosegraze as she's a book lover and blogger herself and the reason I desperately want to move to WP, among other reasons, but her amazing plugin! However, she charges $20USD/month but I think that's all inclusive PLUS maintenance which is so important for me, as I don't know how to do any of those things, but I just need to work out the logistics. What's your advice? Have you moved from Blogger to WP? How was your process like?

Book-tube-a-thon is being held July 30th - August 5 go check it out! A week long read-a-thon is always nice. Don't forget this
Saturday there's Dewey's Read-a-thon as well, that can be your pre-readathon for the Book-tube-a-thon (geez, try to say all that without getting tongue tied).
I'm also excited to say I'm going to be meeting Veronica Roth on September 11th at Sydney. Click here to buy tickets
Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks! Will also be linking up to Mailbox Monday. All books are linked to Goodreads, if you want to add to your shelf.
Thank you Harper Collins Australia for sending me a copy of the new cover for Alexandra Bracken's The Darkest Minds. I love these new covers, really considering the box set. Movie is scheduled for release early next month.

Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week's Question?
Do you agree or disagree with this statement: A blogger's first name should be in a prominent place on his/her blog.
(Suggested by Elizabeth @ Silver's Reviews)
I think it's nice to have your name and a small profile about you somewhere on your sidebar, albeit I don't have one LOL but I think that if your About Me tab is prominent enough I don't think it's a necessity.
I do like seeing short profile info and pic after the end of the post it allows me to feel more connected to the person I am commenting or having a conversation with.
Yes I know...I don't have ANY of the above on my blog, but I am hoping to change that once I move over to Wordpress.
