Life Beyond Books
Life Lik3 by Jay Kristoff Sydney Launch
This was an awesome experience. He was extremely TALL but very down to earth. Just a few fun facts that he mentioned at the event:-
- He gets a tattoo for each book he writes, he's due for 4 more tattoos and he has booked in for Jay Maxwell a Western Australia tattooist.
- Illuminae Files movie rights has been purchased by Brad Pitt's production company...can't wait for this!
- Jason Chan is his favourite illustrator
- He'd have Bob Marley play Nick in Gemina and Kristin Stewart play Hannah
- Inspiration for Mia (Nevernight Chronicles) are Uma Thurman and Emily Strange
- Ezra from Illuminae was named after Ezra Miller, although they don't look anything alike
If you missed his LifeLik3 tour, don't despair, there's a fair few upcoming books to be released including the conclusion to The Nevernight Chronicles; Darkdawn and another project with Co-Author, Amie Kaufman...get excited!
